Custom Made Venetian Electric Flame Maple Top Solid body Mandolin 90s Sunburst

Here is a very cool curiosity that rolled into the shop recently.

This is a Custom made Electric Solid body mandolin. It features a set neck, Mahogany back and neck, flamed maple top, rosewood fretboard and bridge.

The pickup looks to be a repurposed Guild Bass pickup from the early 1990s

The mandolin sounds and plays really well! Its body shape is inspired by the old Venetian body shape of the Kay Craft guitars and mandolins from the 1930s.

The finish appears to be nitro lacquer. A hard case is included. A pearl "B" is inlaid on the headstock.

This is a very neat and fully functional mandolin, and would garner attention wherever you played it
