Alamo Jet 1x12 Tube Combo Amplifier 1967 w Upgraded Jensen Speaker

Here is a cool vintage Tube combo from the late 1960s from Alamo in San Antonio Texas!

The Jet was one of their more popular models, featuring a single 12" speaker in a slightly taller cabinet than other brands. It also has onboard Reverb and Tremolo.

The previous owner made a huge upgrade with not only the recent reissue Jensen speaker, but also the speaker baffle has been changed form the original particleboard, to heavier solid plywood for a more rugged connection.

The amp works and sounds great thanks to a service. The original ungrounded power cord is still in tact however.

This amp has a beautifully gritty tone turned up, and would be a great choice in the studio, or even at small to midsize gigs
