This pedal is based on the original John Hornby Skewes Zonk Machine MKI pedal produced in Leeds, England, in 1965 – 1966. The Zonk machine is tonally similar to the MKI Tone Bender offering Driven Fuzz tones. Based on limited production originals are exceptionally scarce.

OC75: Bright and high gain, snappy in tone, sounds raspy in a 2 transistor circuit such as the MKI.5
OC44: Bright and Driven Tone

*** Please note All Compact Series Pedals require their own isolated 9V power supply. This is due to the nature of the PNP Transistors which cannot be used with a daisy-chained supply.
