Here is a VERY cool early transitional Bassman head!
First off, this has been recently serviced by the experts at Deluxe Amplification. It has a grounded plug, fresh and correct sprague caps, power tubes and 1 new pot that needed replacement. Everything else is original including the transformers, etc. The output transformer has a code denoting very early 1961.
Heres some other cool features! The Tube chart inside the cabinet is from a TWEED Bassman! This was common practice on these early models...they used up old charts on the newer amps.
The serial number is also very low (BP00271) denoting either late 1960 or early 1961
So yeah....this is one of the first batch of Blonde bassman heads to be released. What a cool piece of amp history!
The amp is obviously in very nice honest condition, showing only mild evidence of age.
It sounds incredible both through a classic 2x12 cabinet, or really whatever you choose!
This would serve many styles really well

This amp is ready to go! Hope you add it to your collection
